Job summary

Dodge City Community College is seeking a Fleet Assistant to perform daily cleaning, fueling, preparation and service of fleet vehicles. The role will move vehicles for service and return them indoors after trips, and may drive buses with proper credentials.

Responsibilities include inspecting tires, brakes, lights and fluids, reporting malfunctions, and providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. GED or high school diploma is required; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge with any applicable certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, washing, preparation and service of fleet vehicles.
• Fuel vehicles and move them back inside after completion of trips.
• Assist with moving vehicles to offsite service locations and drive buses with proper credentials.
