Dodge City Community College is seeking a Fleet Operations Assistant to support daily fleet operations under the Fleet Manager. You will clean, fuel, and prepare fleet vehicles, perform inspections, and assist with moving vehicles for service.

There is potential to drive buses once credentials are obtained. Successful candidates will have a GED or high school diploma, a Kansas driver’s license, and the ability to operate maintenance tools.

Competenze

• GED or high school diploma.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge with any applicable certifications.

• Inspect tires, brakes, wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment.
• Fuel and clean vehicles after travel.
• Report malfunctions or repairs needed.
• Clean and maintain buses and bus restrooms after trips.
• Make minor repairs to filters, wipers, or lights as needed.
• Assist with moving vehicles to offsite service locations.
• Clean, disinfect, and detail all fleet vehicles.
• Adhere to College policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
