Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing and supervising transportation personnel.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the transportation fleet, ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to plan and execute delivery routes.
• Monitor and maintain vehicle maintenance schedules, addressing any issues promptly to prevent downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to transportation.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of drivers, providing feedback and training as needed.
• Manage and optimize fuel and other operational costs to improve overall efficiency.
