Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Prattville, AL seeks a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the MedTrans fleet's safe, efficient operation, maintain vehicles, and schedule drivers while ensuring compliance with DOT and company policies.

You will optimize routes, train drivers, manage maintenance, and lead daily driver activities, with emphasis on coaching staff and applying routing software knowledge and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Managing and dispatching drivers and use of routing software; at least 2 years coaching staff.
• Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations; basic MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet and driver scheduling.
• Optimize daily routes based on workloads and customer orders; ensure DOT compliance.
• Train and discipline drivers; lead day-to-day activities and provide guidance.
• Maintain equipment per policy; recruit, hire and mentor staff; conduct regular driver meetings.
