Job summary

Milwaukee Area Technical College is seeking a Coordinator, Fleet to oversee the administration, maintenance, and upfitting of the joint services and Public Safety vehicle fleet. You will manage vehicle readiness, asset records, and external vendor relationships to ensure safe, reliable vehicles for campus operations.

The role requires an Associate's degree or technical diploma and 3–5 years of related fleet experience, plus a valid driver's license. Regular travel to campus sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical diploma in Automotive Technology, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, automotive service, or related area; OR Five (5) years of directly related experience in fleet operations or asset management.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Car Servicing Oversight: coordinate service/repair with external vendors and maintain policies.
• Vehicle Allocation Program Management: ensure staff receive safe, reliable vehicles to meet operational needs.
• Vehicle Readiness Program Execution: monitor servicing, evaluate safety, and maintain records and CMV/CDL compliance.
• Training and Driver Readiness Oversight: provide driver safety training and maintain approved drivers list.
• Management of Fleet Assets: review capital requisitions and maintain asset inventory and policies.
