Job summary

Lineage seeks a Fleet Supervisor to lead daily transportation operations, overseeing 30+ drivers with emphasis on safety, compliance, and cost control. You will partner with dispatch to optimize routing, monitor asset utilization, and manage maintenance programs to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in fleet, trucking, or transportation operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, safety compliance, and fleet maintenance best practices.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), fleet management platforms, and ELD systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, repair scheduling, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership and coaching skills, with experience supervising drivers and operations staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with drivers, mechanics, customers, and internal teams.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet/maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

• Daily Fleet Operations with dispatcher alignment on routing and load coverage.
• Monitor fleet utilization for cost control and asset efficiency.
• Supervise fleet performance, ensuring availability and compliance.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, HOS rules, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Track maintenance records, warranty programs, and inspections.
• Partner with vendors and internal staff to manage repairs and costs.
• Support implementation of fleet maintenance software and data entry.
• Supervise and coach drivers and logistics staff for high performance.
• Provide ongoing safety training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Lead monthly driver safety meetings and quarterly sessions to reinforce safety.
