Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver schedules, ensuring drivers are assigned to routes to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor driver performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training to improve performance and safety compliance.
• Ensure drivers are trained in safe operation of vehicles and equipment and comply with safety regulations.
• Manage driver payroll and ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Maintain up-to-date records of driver activities including hours of service, fuel, and maintenance schedules.
• Respond to driver questions promptly and professionally; resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction and identify process improvements.
• Participate in development of new policies and procedures for driver management and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to driver management and safety.
• Conduct regular driver performance reviews and identify opportunities for development.
