Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Driver Manager based in Birmingham, AL. The Driver Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet and driver operations, ensuring efficient transportation management, monitoring timely deliveries, and maintaining operational excellence. The role requires engaging with drivers to provide support, resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. Coordinating schedules, managing resources, and fostering communication between team members are integral to this position.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Operations Management and knowledge of Transportation Management systems
• Experience in Fleet Management and expertise in ensuring operational efficiency
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with drivers, clients, and team members
• Ability to maintain excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to address day-to-day challenges
• Knowledge of industry regulations and adherence to safety standards and compliance practices
• Experience in trucking or logistics industry is a plus
• Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software tools
