Job summary

Raymond West seeks a dynamic Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our local vehicle fleet and upfit vehicles to Raymond West standards. The role emphasizes safe operation, documentation in Fleetio, and collaboration with the Fleet team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficient use of MS Office. Flexibility for off-hours work and willingness to learn new skills are important in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; automotive/mechanical experience preferred or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet management tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on the local vehicle fleet.
• Document maintenance and repairs using Fleetio.
• Manage parts and inventory; notify Procurement for reorders when needed.
• Upfit vehicles (GPS, flooring, cabinetry, PPE, tools) as required.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for services and inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Fleet areas and parking lots.
• Support department managers on special projects when requested.
