Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on our local vehicle fleet and to upfit units to Raymond West standards. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, tool use, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include documenting work in Fleetio, managing parts inventory, and contributing to vehicle upfits such as GPS, flooring, and electrical work.

Qualifications

• Minimum education and experience determined by position.
• High School Diploma/GED; automotive experience preferred or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on the local vehicle fleet.
• Document maintenance and repairs using Fleetio.
• Manage parts and accessories inventory in the Fleet department, notifying Procurement for reorders.
• Upfit vehicles with GPS installation, flooring, cabinetry, PPE, tools/storage, electrical work.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for services like wraps, windshield repairs, insurance assessments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Fleet department and surrounding areas.
• Ensure the parking lot remains clean and safe for vehicle movement.
• Collaborate with the Facility Maintenance Specialist on waste disposal and hazardous materials.
• Work on special projects with department managers as needed.
