Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper seeks a Fleet Mechanic for the Holland, MI location. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on diesel trucks, vans and forklifts, and document all work and parts usage. The role requires ability to lift heavy objects and own a tool set.

The successful candidate will work 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend hours. ASE and CDL certifications are encouraged and payment starts at a competitive hourly rate, with progression after

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
  • 1+ year fleet mechanic experience.
  • Ability to service all vehicle types (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift).
  • Lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Must supply own set of tools.
  • Willing to obtain ASE Heavy/Medium certs, CDL A, brake/annual inspection certs, and A/C cert within first year.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Fleet Mechanic - Holland, MI

About the Role: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans and forklifts. Disassemble and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems. Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records. Manage ordering and inventory of parts.

Shift and Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • 2nd shift 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Total Rewards
  • Pay starting at $34.10 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $35.92 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 year or more of mechanic experience on a fleet.
  • Must be able to work on all types of vehicles (diesel trucks, electric and propane forklift, etc.).
  • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Able to supply your own set of tools to perform the job.
  • Willing and able to acquire the necessary certifications and licenses within the first year of employment, including: ASE Heavy and Medium duty certification, DOT Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A), DOT brake and annual inspection certification, and A/C certification.
