Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 1 to inspect, repair and maintain fleet equipment including diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks and forklifts.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, order parts, and document all work in our maintenance system. The role requires reading/writing English, adherence to safety policies, and a willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on light/heavy duty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet equipment (class 1-8 diesel/gas trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical malfunctions and replace parts as needed.
• Research and order parts, record usage and manage stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and document in the maintenance system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMP policies.
• Follow management directions and perform assigned duties.
