FirstEnergy is seeking a Garage Mechanic B for our Connellsville, PA area to service, inspect, maintain, and repair the FE fleet, including heavy trucks and field equipment. You will perform a range of mechanical and electrical repairs, prepare records, and support storm restoration efforts as needed.

The role requires 2 years of automotive/diesel training or 5 years as a fleet mechanic, experience with large vehicles, and a CDL is preferred. Live within 45 minutes of the service center to apply.

Formación

• Two years of Automotive/Diesel Mechanic trade school or five years of recent full-time experience as a fleet mechanic.
• Experience as a garage mechanic working on large vehicles; knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems preferred.
• Class A CDL preferred; Class 7 Inspection License required at hire.
• Willing to live within 45 minutes of the Service Center.

Responsabilidades

• Service, inspect, maintain, and repair the FE fleet, including heavy trucks, cars, trailers, and field equipment.
• Provide emergency road repairs, towing, ferrying, and equipment demonstrations.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs under various conditions and prepare accurate records and reports.
• Assist with storm restoration duties as needed, including extended hours and possible out-of-town work.
