Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Mechanic in Carmel, IN to ensure all equipment and vehicles are ready and operating efficiently through preventive maintenance and repairs. You will coordinate with managers and field specialists, review inspection reports, and manage parts orders and paperwork.

The ideal candidate has experience with diesel and small engine repair, aerial lift operation, and spray equipment, plus your own basic tools.

Qualifications

Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance.
Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience.
Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks.
Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps.
Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists.
Reviewing Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly.
Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors.
Training field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation whenever possible.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in the shop and yard.
