Job summary

DMT Trucking, LLC in Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and service our fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks and commercial trailers. Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic issues
• Experience repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) and routine maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic equipment
• Repair and/or replace malfunctioning components (engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension)
• Conduct safety checks and ensure DOT compliance
• Communicate repair plans and vehicle status to supervisors and drivers
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety policies
