Lambert's Cable in Florida is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles and equipment. You will diagnose failures, plan maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of mechanic experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in a busy shop. You will use diagnostic tools, perform oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Formación

• 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Mechanics may provide their own basic tools; shop provides specialty tools.
• At least 1 year of mechanic experience, fleet or commercial equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsabilidades

• Determine repair or maintenance plans based on cost/benefit analysis.
• Conduct diagnostics to troubleshoot failures in vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect and provide strategic recommendations for proactive maintenance.
• Follow work procedures for repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and fueled at all times.
• Operate and test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
