Job summary

Budget Truck is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Missouri to service a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You’ll perform oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire/brake/suspension work, and warranty repairs with minimal supervision.

You may assist senior technicians and, as needed, drive a Budget Truck for testing or operational support. A valid license, 2+ years of experience, and ASE certification are required, with room to grow ASE credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a Budget Truck when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes and suspension work.
• Carry out warranty-related repairs based on experience level.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs as skills grow.
• May drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or support.
