Job Description
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, At-Will
Reports to: Fleet Manager
Department: Operations
Location: Onsite: Yuba City, CA; Chico, CA; Farmersville, CA
Location Status: Work will be primarily performed at a designated field worksite location based out of a central Communications worksite. Frequent travel to and work from other offices or off-site locations will be required.

The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment within our fleet. This includes routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and responding to mechanical issues as they arise. The role requires expertise in vehicle diagnostics, engine repair, brake systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently. Hand tools will be provided as needed.
