Job Location: Redding Moore - Redding, CA

Salary Range: $33.00 - $36.00 Hourly

Description

Valley Pacific is looking for a Fleet Mechanic to maintain its fleet of delivery trucks in the Redding, CA area. This person will assist in the maintenance and repairs of the truck fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in keeping track of all maintenance records, DVIRS.
• Maintain excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of resolving problems.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Thorough knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of a Class A diesel fleet mechanic.
• Knowledge of air brakes and related plumbing.
• Proficient in diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and AC systems.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/CHP mechanical requirements for a HAZMAT fleet, performing intrastate commerce.
• Tanker fabrication and aluminum repair experience is a plus.
• Preventative maintenance background.
• CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements are a plus but not required.
