Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

The pay range for this position is between $25 to $40 flat rate, with a guaranteed minimum of $17.00 per hour.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, preparing you for career growth. Your role is essential in delivering 5-star guest experiences by ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
  • Secure guest approval before performing work, maintain a clean work area.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Test drive vehicles and safely use shop equipment for inventory pickup as needed.
  • Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Own basic automotive tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
  • Ability to work overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset
  • Maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE certification in A1-A8
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector License
  • Technical school certificate/degree
