Job summary

Quality Talent Group is assisting a global technology leader in the building automation and industrial technology industry to hire a skilled fleet mechanic in Wisconsin. The role requires diagnosing problems and performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering issues, create work orders with clear information, and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper performance.

Qualifications

• Reading technical manuals and understanding schematic diagrams.
• Must be able to read technical manuals and understand schematic diagrams.
• Drive a vehicle with a valid license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance to fleet equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, brakes, and steering problems
• Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information
• Test fleet equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance

Qualifications

• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class A or B commercial driver's license preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have the ability to read technical manuals and understand schematic diagramsMust be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted
