Job summary

Expressway Auto Group in Evansville, IN seeks experienced fleet mechanics for its Expressway Service Center. Join a high-volume operation supporting both light and heavy-duty vehicles.

You will perform basic maintenance, brakes, climate control, electrical systems, transmissions, and drivetrain repairs, with hands-on fabrication such as welding and soldering. Strong communication with team and clients is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic with dealership or heavy equipment repair experience.
• Brake repair, wheel alignment, electrical systems, and engine diagnostics.
• Fabrication: welding and soldering.
• Familiar with electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication with team and clients while providing technical support.

Overview

Expressway Dodge in Evansville, IN is building a dedicated team of technicians for our large volume of fleet business at the Expressway Service Center located at 5401 East Virginia Street Evansville, IN 47715. We are looking to add three (3) skilled automotive or heavy truck technicians with proven mechanical experience.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with dealership or heavy equipment repair environments
• Strong background in automotive repair including brake repair, wheel alignment, electrical systems, and engine diagnostics
• Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic systems
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients while providing technical support
