Overview

Fleet Mechanic

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Location: Bellflower, CA

Shift & Schedule: Afternoon to 10:00 pm - Saturday all day

Empire Transportation, Inc. has been providing quality transportation services in Southern California for over 41 years. At our Bellflower, CA facility, we are seeking experienced mechanics to diagnose, inspect, and overhaul shuttle buses (CNG and gasoline). Must be dependable, self-motivated, communicate well, and be available to work Saturdays. Maintenance is available six days a week. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be willing to upgrade their license to Commercial class B.

This position is safety-sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing under Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) regulations.

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, using hands and tools, reaching, talking, hearing, occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
