World Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Fleet Manager to serve as the direct link between drivers and customers, ensuring on-time service and productive day-to-day operations. You will lead owner-operators, assign equipment, and coordinate with the Customer Success team to maintain high performance and compliance.

The role requires 2-5 years in intermodal trucking, strong communication, and DOT knowledge, with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years intermodal/container transportation experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Experience working with fleet of contractors/owner-operators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervise our fleet of owner-operators.
• Monitor delivery performance and fleet profitability; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assign equipment as needed and optimize load distribution.
• Coordinate with Customer Success to plan deliveries.
• Develop strong relationships with contractors to improve retention and performance.
• Resolve disputes involving contractors and carriers.
• Ensure training for fleet is coordinated and compliant with DOT rules.
