Job summary

Waste Pro of Louisiana is seeking a Fleet Manager for the Industrial and Portable Toilet division. The role oversees maintenance staff, ensures fleet reliability, and maintains cost-effective operations in Louisiana.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to EPA/DOT/OSHA regulations, and coordination with regional maintenance and safety teams. CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Requires 15+ years of progressive hands-on experience in fleet management.
• Specialized understanding of maintenance procedures and regulations (EPA, DOT, OSHA).
• Strong cross-functional and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, coaching, performance management, scheduling of work and overtime.
• Maintain preventive/corrective maintenance program and service standards.
• Review status reports: road calls, parts, repairs, safety performance.
• Provide hands-on maintenance assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state programs and EPA/DOT/OSHA regulations.
