Job summary

Waste Pro in Geismar, LA is seeking a Lead Technician in our portable toilet division. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy duty fleets to maximize safety and uptime.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical/hydraulic issues, servicing rear/front load trucks and port-a-let units, road testing, and documenting repairs. CDL preferred; ASE Master Technician certification highly valued.

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic issues.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred.
Master Mechanic ASE certification preferred; trade school certification required.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic problems, including chassis and body issues, and performs repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
Repair Heavy Duty Equipment including Rear Load, Front Load, Roll Off, Grapple, Port-a-let, and other service type trucks including chassis and body.
Road test vehicles to diagnose problems and confirm completed repairs.
Perform Emergency Road calls to repair trucks and or arrange towing when they cannot be repaired onsite.
Documentation of parts usage and time on repair orders, in a timely and concise manner.
Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
