Job summary

IES Commercial Inc dba IES Electrical in Holdrege, NE is seeking a full-time Fleet Manager to oversee vehicle fleet operations, including acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, replacement, and disposal. You will coordinate with the shop manager on maintenance and ensure DOT compliance.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and data analysis skills, experience with DOT rules, and the ability to work cross-departmentally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of DOT requirements and reporting.
• Knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures related to fleet assets.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and industry practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for vehicle fleet operations.
• Plan and coordinate the acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with DOT requirements.
• Coordinate fleet inspection and maintenance requirements.
• Support appropriate vehicle maintenance intervals in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain fleet records, including monthly vehicle inspection reports and vehicle-history information documenting maintenance, parts, and labor costs.
• Work effectively with IES employees, vendors, and other departments in support of fleet operations.
• Assist with warehouse and materials responsibilities as assigned.
• Follow all company safety policies.
