Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Fleet Manager to schedule trucks for delivery and ensure compliance with DOT regulations while supervising drivers and maintaining fleet standards. The role emphasizes independent work, strong organization, and a safety-first mindset as part of a broader logistics team.

The position requires experience with driver qualification files, route optimization, and preparing delivery documents like BOLs and trip records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years managing DOT-regulated drivers and scheduling transportation; working knowledge of DOT regulations required.
• Strong organizational, independent work, prioritization and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be able to read and use a tape measurer.
• Professional, courteous communication with customers and drivers; safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, ensure adherence to DOT and company policies, audit logs, and maintain driver qualification files.
• Schedule routes and deliveries, coordinate workloads and drive efficiency.
• Prepare delivery schedules, bill of ladings, trip records, and fuel tax reports; manage common carrier shipments.
• Inspect load security, review proofs of deliveries, handle rejected goods, and coordinate reorders.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance programs and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and compliance with regulatory standards.
