Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in fleet management, transportation, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IRP, vehicle registration, titling, licensing, and fleet compliance.
- Experience managing the full vehicle lifecycle, from acquisition through retirement.
- Strong Excel, data analysis, reporting, and KPI experience.
- Experience with fleet technology such as Samsara, telematics, GPS, cameras, or tracking systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement fleet processes and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Finance, Procurement, and IT.
- Willingness to travel to company locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full fleet lifecycle, including acquisitions, deployments, transfers, sales, and retirements.
- Oversee IRP, registration, titling, licensing, and fleet compliance.
- Maintain accurate fleet inventory, vehicle records, documentation, and the master fleet database.
- Coordinate vehicle deliveries, equipment installations, and fleet technology deployments.
- Develop and track fleet KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
- Partner with FP&A to analyze fleet utilization, costs, downtime, asset performance, and replacement cycles.
- Develop and implement standardized fleet processes and best practices.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Finance, Procurement, and IT to improve fleet performance.
- Support legal and tax strategies related to fleet assets as needed.
- Serve as the fleet subject matter expert for compliance, administration, technology, and reporting.
