Job summary

Trinity Metro in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Training Specialist for Fleet Maintenance to identify and address training needs across the maintenance fleet. This role develops, coordinates, and delivers technical and safety training to technicians and supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in vehicle maintenance or related training, an Associate degree or 60 credits in a related field, and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly while maintaining records and supporting safety

Qualifications

Possession of a valid CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to communicate technical information to varied skill levels.
Experience delivering technical, vocational, safety, or employee training preferred.
Four years in vehicle maintenance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify training needs within Fleet Maintenance.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs based on goals, standards and safety/regulatory requirements.
Research instructional materials; develop lesson plans, tests, and training aids.
Conduct classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training for Fleet Maintenance staff.
Evaluate trainee knowledge and training effectiveness; provide feedback and improvements.
