Job summary

The Landline Company is hiring a Fleet Maintenance & Training Manager to oversee preventive maintenance, fleet tracking, and driver readiness for its Northern California operation based in Santa Rosa. The role emphasizes safety, on-time performance, and coordination with airports and stakeholders.

Expect to support maintenance, monitor GPS data, and manage fleet movements while ensuring TSA and security requirements are met.

Qualifications

CDL with P and Air Brake endorsements required.
5+ years of passenger bus driving experience.
Clean DOT medical card and driving record.
Experience with fleet tracking or dispatch preferred.
Airport/ground transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and track preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs across the Northwest fleet.
Monitor real-time bus location and utilization, flag issues impacting on-time performance.
Coordinate fleet movement between stations and facilities as needed.
Support driver training programs including new-hire and recertification.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documents.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage downtime and repair timelines.
Serve as backup driver for revenue or non-revenue moves when needed.
Provide coaching to drivers to ensure safety and performance standards.
