Job summary

United Rentals in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Fleet Technician I to maintain and repair Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers and office trailers. You will perform cleaning and maintenance to company standards and assist CDL A drivers on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment, tools, and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs per standards.
• Hook mobile office to power source.
• Check tire pressure and lugs.
• Complete assignments on time and within budget.
• Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A drivers.
• Fork Lift Operations.
• Show and exhibit fleet to customers when needed.
• Safely install and uninstall VAPs as required
