Job summary

The Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Technician II in our McDonough, GA shop. This role involves inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Bennett's fleet of trucks, trailers, and related equipment in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates should have 5–7 years of fleet maintenance experience, knowledge of FMCSA standards, and the ability to perform welding and drive-train diagnostics. Successful applicants will document work orders using the shop systems.

Qualifications

5-7 years of fleet maintenance experience with industry certifications.
Knowledge of FMCSA DOT standards and Class 8 equipment.
Ability to perform welding, cutting, grinding and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on Bennett's trucks, trailers, forklifts, and related equipment.
Use shop computer systems for work orders, parts inventory and reporting.
Diagnose and repair brakes, electrical, pneumatic, suspension and drive train systems.
Work outdoors in varying climates and locations, including roadside when required.
