Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED; two years of auto mechanics/equipment repair.
• ASE certifications preferred; Georgia CDL license preferred.
• Must be able to interpret complaints and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and service on County vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose problems using diagnostic equipment and repair/replace parts as needed.
• Rebuild engines, repair drivetrains, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
• Monitor inventory, order parts, and transport vehicles to vendors for repair.
• Prepare maintenance reports and log work performed, parts used and hours.
