Job summary

The Fleet Maintenance Technician II will perform inspections, services, repairs and general maintenance of township owned fleet vehicles and equipment.

Work is typically based in a busy service center/maintenance garage environment and subject to interruptions and weather. May require extended hours; lifting up to 100 lbs; safety PPE required. Constellis offers a comprehensive, total rewards package and a diverse, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Trade certification or 3–4 years automotive/diesel repair experience.
• Must be welding certified.
• Valid NJ driver's license; Class B CDL preferred.
• 9 ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair gasoline and diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair all systems.
• Repair hydraulic systems and exhaust/components.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Check fluids, lights, electrical systems and safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area and complete paperwork timely.
• Occasionally work overtime during snow events.
