Summit School Services is hiring a Fleet Tech II to diagnose and repair school bus vehicles, covering brakes, drivetrains, electrical, and HVAC systems. You will work with the Lead Technician to ensure uptime and safe transportation for students.

The role requires 3+ years of fleet or heavy-duty repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and a CDL may be pursued through company training. Excellent teamwork and adherence to safety standards are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of light/medium/heavy-duty mechanic repair experience.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and A/C issues.
• Diesel equipment experience required; gasoline familiarity a plus.
• Prior fleet or dealership experience; own standard hand tools.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair automotive and diesel systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrains, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems.
• Perform engine adjustments, rebuilds, and test drives to verify repairs.
• Complete safety inspections and sign-offs before releasing vehicles.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace compliant with standards.
• Log labor hours and parts, and report issues to leadership.
• Respond to road calls and perform mobile repairs as needed.
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in every task.
• Other duties as assigned.
