Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician—Class C to service heavy tractors, refrigeration units, and trailers in Hutchins, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, and document repairs in our system.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 & 609 licenses required within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to train in all aspects of Fleet repair, including Cummins Insite and Bendix ACOM.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chick-fil-A safety standards in all duties.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tractors and trucks have sufficient diesel exhaust fluid.
• Maintain fuel dispensing records per applicable regulations.
• Wash tractors, trailers and straight trucks to maintain appearance and sanitation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems with qualified technician.
• Complete repair work orders and documentation in the Fleet Maintenance System.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as battery checks and lubrication.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and environmental regulations.
• May operate a company vehicle for repairs or pickups.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Be willing to work outdoors and in all weather.
