Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician Class A to perform vehicle and facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with warranties and client requirements. You will diagnose, repair, and service a range of transit vehicles, and maintain electronic work orders for accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CDL Class B with air-brake testing, ASE certifications preferred, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred for level A mechanic.
• CDL Class B with air-brake testing may be required by contract.
• Experience using hand and power tools; provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair MTM Transit service vehicles.
• Maintain MTM Transit facilities and grounds.
• Repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems as needed.
• Complete electronic work orders accurately.
