MTM Transit seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician Class A in Redding, CA. You will perform maintenance, electrical service, diagnostics, and repairs on MTM Transit vehicles and assist with facility upkeep. Strong tool skills and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred for level A mechanic.
• CDL Class B with Air-brake testing if applicable to the contract.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Provide own air and hand tools as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, electrical service, diagnosing, and repair of MTM Transit service vehicles.
• General maintenance and repairs of MTM Transit facilities and grounds.
• Repair areas include automotive and light/heavy-duty components, electrical systems, HVAC, and drivability.
• Complete electronic work orders accurately.
• Assist in maintaining shop and facility equipment and safety protocols.
