Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on our diesel and non-diesel fleet. Under supervision, you will inspect, service and repair vehicles to keep drivers on the road with reliable equipment.

Responsibilities include oil changes, fluid replenishment, light repairs and basic electrical work, along with visual inspections to pinpoint issues. Training and steady shift hours support growth and stability in a busy, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment and basic repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify issues and sources of malfunctions.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Assist with light electrical work and tire changes.
