Zusammenfassung

MTM Transit is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician (B) in Phoenix, AZ. You will repair and diagnose fleet vehicles, maintain facilities, and ensure accurate electronic work orders in a fast-paced shop.

We offer a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits program. A high school diploma and auto/truck experience with ASE certifications are preferred.

• 1+ years auto/truck experience or automotive coursework; entry level C level, multi-year for A/B levels.
• Must be able to obtain ASE automotive certifications.
• Ability to obtain AC609 certification.
• Experience in diagnostics and trouble shooting.
• Experience using hand and power tools; provide own tools as required.

• Maintain, service, diagnose, and repair MTM AAA vehicles.
• Maintain and repair MTM facilities and grounds.
• Repair areas include automotive, light trucks, powertrains, undercarriage, electrical systems, HVAC, and accessories.

What will your job look like?

The Fleet Maintenance Technician (B) will perform vehicle repairs and diagnostics in the proper maintenance of fleet vehicles including electrical, HVAC, drivability, suspension and complete vehicle repairs and maintenance and for communicating the status of repairs and parts needed in a computerized Maintenance management system using the 3 "C" s.

Tuesday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Pay Rate

$22.50 - $28 per hour depending on experience

With $1,500 Sign On Bonus!

What you'll do

• Responsible for maintenance, service, diagnosing, & repair of MTM AAA vehicles.
• Responsible for general maintenance and repairs of AAA facilities and grounds.
• Areas of repair to include but not limited to: automotive vehicle, light duty truck , powertrains, undercarriage/ chassis, electronic and electrical equipment, air conditioning and heating systems, and vehicle accessories and equipment drivability and diagnosis.
• Assist in maintaining shop and facility to include servicing vehicle lifts, pumps, and like equipment.
• Ensure accuracy when completing electronic work orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

What you'll need

• Experience, Education & Certifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must have minimum of 1+ years of auto/truck experience or automotive courses from automotive institute for entry level C level position. Multi year experience and certifications a plus for A and B level positions
• Ability to obtain ASE automotive series certification.
• Ability to obtain the AC609 certification.
• Experience in diagnostics and trouble shooting.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Provide own air and hand tools as required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's license
• Minimum of 5 years driving history
• No pending charges
• No convicted felony charges in past 7 years
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation
• Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation
• Valid Authorization to work in the United States

MTM Transit ASE Certification Program $$$$

Master ASE certification in an approved series, the employee will receive an annual bonus of $2,500 . For each year the employee retains their Master ASE in an approved series you will receive $2,500.

Each initial passing of an ASE test you will now receive a one time bonus of $250.00.

MTM will pay for each test for the technicians up to 2 times per test. If a technician fails their test multiple times (2) then MTM may choose to have the technician pay for additional testing for the same test and would then reimburse the technician upon passing.

Salary Min: $22.50/HR

Salary Max: $28/HR
