Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fleet Technician I to maintain and repair Mobile Storage equipment, including containers and modular buildings. You’ll work under supervision to safely complete tasks, document work orders, and support CDL A drivers at customer sites.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, basic maintenance skills, teamwork, and solid communication. This is a on-site position in Midland, TX with opportunity for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active state driver’s license.
• Related maintenance experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Construction knowledge and background.
• Teamwork and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to utilize required information technology.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment, tools and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks as described, including inspections.
• Hook mobile office to power source and check tire pressure.
• Complete work orders on time and within budget.
• Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A drivers.
• Follow safety and 5S guidelines for organization.
