Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a second shift in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance across tractors, trucks, and trailers, while hiring and developing technicians to ensure customer expectations are met.

Preferred candidates have 3+ years in fleet maintenance management or 3 years of team management in metrics-driven environments. You do not need to be a mechanic to succeed in this leadership role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske's assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor.
