Job summary

The Town of Weston is seeking a DPW Supervisor of Vehicle Maintenance to oversee daily operations of the division and supervise staff. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on vehicle maintenance expertise, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets.

Starting pay ranges from $79,532 to $95,442 with potential overtime and room for growth to $111,353 in FY27. This on-site supervisory position requires valid MA licenses and a commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and technical training or equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Massachusetts Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the division and supervises division staff.
• Develops and oversees daily work schedules and assignments.
• Oversees maintenance of all Town and School vehicles and DPW equipment.
• Assists in developing the annual capital budget and five-year maintenance forecast.
• Ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards and maintains MSDS/HAZMAT records.
• Oversees payroll, overtime, and personnel data related to employees.
