Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of fleet supervisor experience in a diesel/heavy-duty environment.
• Minimum five years auto/truck or bus mechanical repair experience.
• Experience with compliance with local DOT regulations for heavy trucks.
• ASE Master Automotive/Truck Technician certification preferred.
• Strong computer skills and diagnostic tools experience.
• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance repairs (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairs within qualification level.
• Oversee local implementation of maintenance and safety procedures.
• Oversee use of ERP system to record work orders and inventory.
• Oversee parts inventory and maintenance facility.
• Lead preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs.
• Coordinate with other local operations functions.
• Supervise maintenance staff at the facility.
• Maintain high ethical standards and report concerns.
