Job summary

Utili-Serve in Conover, NC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to support the Fleet Director in planning, scheduling, and overseeing vehicle maintenance programs. You will aid in repairs, preventive maintenance, and record-keeping while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple job sites. A company vehicle is provided as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ford Factory Certification training in gas/diesel/heavy-duty is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs Ford commercial and light-duty fleet vehicles.
• Ensures compliance with State, Federal and Company requirements and maintains a safe work environment.
• Reviews and completes repair orders; may order fuel, parts, and subcontract repairs as needed.
• Initiates projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Provides day-to-day support for field crew members and schedules projects.
