Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Garner, NC seeks an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Manager with shift duties, personnel, and achieving site objectives. The role includes supervising technicians and coordinators, meeting labor requirements, and balancing cost, quality, safety and asset targets.

You will be cross-trained to assist others across shop functions and must adhere to Ryder's maintenance operations policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising a warehouse or shift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with shift operations and personnel.
• Supervise employees on a shift (Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, Technicians, Service Employees).
• Ensure labor requirements, objectives and targets are met.
• Balance financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets with business needs.
• Manage location performance against metrics to meet/exceed objectives.
• Receive cross-functional training to support others within the shop.
• Adhere to Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and procedures.

Summary

The Operations Supervisor assists the Operations Manager with the operations and personnel for a shift of a particular location. The Operations Supervisor may have supervisory duties of employees on a shift, including but not limited to: Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, Technicians, and Service Employees. The Operations Supervisor must be able to accomplish results and ensure business objectives and labor requirements are met. The Ops Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the customers' needs are being met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets against the requirements of the business. This position is responsible for managing the location's performance against metrics to meet and/or exceed assigned objectives. The Ops Supervisor will receive cross-functional training to support others within the shop. As with all Ryder shop positions, the Operations Supervisor, or "Shift Supervisor", is responsible for adhering to all Ryder Maintenance Operations policies and procedures.

Shop Location: Garner, NC

Hours: 2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday
