Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Mechanic in Indianapolis to ensure all equipment and vehicles are ready and operating at peak performance. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs, coordinate with managers, and prioritize work based on inspection reports.

The role requires experience with small and diesel engine repair, aerial lift operation, and the ability to read manuals and diagnose issues. CDL preferred; own basic tools may be needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with small engine repair and diesel engines.
• Experience operating aerial lift (bucket) trucks.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with Managers and field specialists.
• Review Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly.
• Order and receive parts and supplies, complete required paperwork for office and vendors.
• Train field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation.
