Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in a rigorous preventive maintenance program for light to medium/heavy duty vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in fleet maintenance and 5–8 years of direct management, strong DOT knowledge, and the ability to travel to multiple shop locations while driving cost-saving improvements and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of fleet maintenance experience and 5–8 years of direct management.
• Strong knowledge of DOT rules and vehicle regulations.
• Able to travel to oversee multiple shop locations.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with heavy truck/trailer repair.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop technicians and shop staff.
• Oversee multiple shop operations and plan daily manpower.
• Monitor performance and drive cost reductions and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, payroll, and documentation.
• Communicate with client to align needs.
