WhatYou’llDo

• Lead all shop operations to maintain fleet reliability, uptime and safety performance
• Manage and develop supervisors, three shifts of mechanics and the parts team through coaching, training and performance management
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for a stand-alone heavy equipment maintenance team and fabrication team supporting fleet operations and special projects
• Use fleet management software and data to prioritize work, identify issues and improve maintenance outcomes
• Oversee parts department operations, including purchasing, inventory levels and vendor performance for an inventory of more than 1,600 unique part numbers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, safety, accounting and leadership teams
• Manage maintenance budgets, approve expenses and optimize total cost of ownership
• Ensure new equipment is received, inspected and properly commissioned before service
• Drive safety initiatives, incident reviews and injury prevention efforts
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in maintenance processes, inventory management and shop efficiency

Monday – Friday

Typical hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (additional hours as needed)
